Penrhyn Studios first short film The Anonymous Child is the result of a powerful creative collaboration between writer Yiannis Douglas Pennant and writer/director Steve Crowhurst. The film is a visual exploration and adaptation of a poem penned by Richard Douglas Pennant and follows an injured young boy as he struggles to find shelter, meaning and solace in his world.

Though fictional, The Anonymous Child echoes the lives of countless children caught in the devastation of war. Even today, in conflict zones across the world, children flee in search of safety, longing for the warmth of home.
